KM Drivers:
Knowledge management is a discipline that helps individuals
or group to spread knowledge across different organizations from different
expert in ways that directly affect performance. KM strategically envisions getting
the right information within the right context to the right person at the right
time for the right business purpose. To reach this targeted mission in the
knowledge management domain, there are five drivers of knowledge management
that support this measure.
Knowledge
management Drivers are refers to as motivations or stimulus that stimulate interest in organizations to implement a KM
program. It often refers to as the reason why organizations consider applying KM strategies in their organizational practices. KM drivers
are divided into 5 categories :
1. Knowledge-centric Drivers
2. Technology Drivers
3. Organizational Structure-based Drivers
4. Process Focused Drivers
5. Economic Driver
